TS101 System will check if the validity of rejection is still in effect #27

Open zetaleona opened 5 years ago

zetaleona commented 5 years ago

• If a vendor is Rejected, if possible, the system will check if the validity of rejection is still in effect. If yes, the system should prevent the user from sending the invite. If not, the system will ask the user if it will resend the invite.

o Vasavah will check if this is possible (as this is a process change). If not, the system will ask the user if it will resend the invite. During processing, the SAT Reviewer will have to check if the vendor is rejected or not.

Please note that validity of rejection is 6 months.

How can we test for inviting a rejected vendor that has lapsed rejection validity?

HannahCastro commented 5 years ago

As we cannot see the date of rejection or validity of rejection, we cannot check if this is working. Please confirm if this is possible.

As of February 20, this issue is not yet resolved.

@matthewroman can you recommend how we can test this? Upon checking available data in PASS, all rejected vendors are within 6 months so we can't test out results for those exceeding rejection validity.

As of March 31, 2020: NOT YET RESOLVED Invited rejected vendor "PASS UAT Vendor 5". Validity of rejection is until July 8, 2021 (rejection hasn't lapsed). System prompted error and didn't allow user to proceed. image Invited rejected vendor "TNG". Validity of rejection is null (-). System also prompted error and didn't allow user to proceed. There should be data in the validity date instead of null. If validity of rejection is more than 6 months, users should be able to invite for accreditation. image
