@vasudhamadhavan Eh, so this image is clearly not working. Can we get one without the border frame and just the painting?

I just got the basic framework up and running at https://vasudhamadhavan.github.io/. You can visit the link to track progress.

Just sidetracked and a bit and did some design on Sketch. I've exported the mockup and put it in dropbox. Have a look. I tried a different painting. However as you can notice in the image, the nav links get lost in the white background. I'll test it with some shadows to see if it works.

The font in the Sketch design (Avenir) looks gorgeous but it costs a bomb to use it. I just put it in there because I love that type. So don't get your expectations up; we'll have a different font for the final version. :P

@jithugopal I love the typeface on the mockup! Can't we get something that looks similar but doesn't cost the earth?

Also, great ideas on the placeholders: 4 bits, simple and cover all the important stuff. Lets work with these.

I have added 2 new folders on DB: one with 15 paintings and another with 4 artist profile pictures to go on her About page. Check out which you like that works well for the home page and all the paintings will go onto the "Collection" page anyway. I'm thinking categories like: Portraits, Nature, Still Life, Architecture may be good under "Collection"

Have added another folder called WebCopy which has a doc with Verse for each painting and text for the About, Writings and Exhibitions pages!

@vasudhamadhavan So we have a decent home page up. It looks fine on my retina screen but need some tweaking for wide/mobile screens.

The nav links are still stubs. I'm going to take a stab at the about screen. Will create a new issue for this.
