There's no indication of what license you're releasing this code under, it would be great if you could state that either in the readme or by adding a LICENSE file with the text of the license you've chosen.

I cannot use the code in my current project unless it is licensed under an Open Source license that is compatible with the project. The MIT License would be preferred.
