Advanced options on colour editor not functioning #16

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Select colour options dialog (Utilities -> colour editor)
2. Toggle 'Advanced options' pane open

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

* Text interface should allow feedback of colour parameters
* Currently these input-boxes are not linked to interactive colour
selection tool.
* Individual components of colour model should automatically update
according to the current colour selection.
* Colour should also be able to be chosen by inputing values for each input-box
* Hex RGB input-box is also non-functioning

I'm assuming that lack of functionality is due to the transition to
wxWidgets 2.8.x

we will need a build with debug enabled to tackle a bug this complex so I am 
marking
bug 15 as a blocker
