Add a "fast object switcher" to move between VM, Host, etc. #2751

I am a big fan of the Gitlab project navigation. At the top of a page, in Gitlab, the breadcrums have a drop down where you can quickly find another project and switch to it.

I often have to switch between VMs or Hosts to check things out. In XenCenter, I type in the search bar at the top and it filters the objects.

In XenOrchestra, I have to go back to the main page for the object type (VM, Host, etc) and do a search, then pull up the object in question.

It would be nice to add a "switcher" like in Gitlab. Could be at the top of the page and would allow searching for objects of the same type.

It's a good idea, but for the time being, remember that you can use keyboard shorcuts (h to see the list) :smiley:
