Using Lenovo M10 HD on Android 10, nextcloud 3.15.1, yaga 0.22.4
Photos do not advance with a normal swipe; the swipe must be EXTREMELY fast for the next photo to be displayed. Any normal, reasonable swipe does nothing. I discovered an exception - immediately after a "fast swipe" and the next photo is in the process of loading (which is very slow for my 1200x900 images) you can do a normal swipe and it will advance to the next (slow to load) photo. You can continue through the entire photo folder this way, but once you allow a photo to fully load, a normal swipe will no longer work, you must do a super-speed swipe, which is so hard to do that half the time I knock the tablet off the dock it is sitting in.
Regarding the slow loading, I believe there were some open issues in Flutter. In general, yes, you are right photos take long to load I believe this is partially due to not using the Android Mediastore properly. I will have to check it out.
Regarding the swiping, I have from time to time experienced this in the emulator but never in production. I will check out the issue list of the library I am using for the carousel. Maybe also experiment with some other libs.
It will however take some time until I get around to this.
