Android : Backgground service notification #171

Hello,

On my Android phone, I have a notification from Yaga : "Background Service. Preparing".

It came back after a phone restart, and it's still running after 4 days.

What is it ? Can I get rid of it ? Does it mean Yaga does not succeed to peform some task ?

System characteristics : Android version 12. Samsung phone One UI 4.1. Yaga 0.43.0 installed from Google Play Store.

Hi!

Sorry for the late response. Currently there is a startup bug after restart which makes this notification appear. You can get rid of it by going into app settings and force closing the app.

It is caused by initial start of the background related service which then has no task and therefor gets stuck with this notification.

I will be upgrading to the newest version of the background service library which will hopefully fix the issue however you will have to be patient until mid of November.
