Documentation For Adding Custom Transition Effects #132

I would like to change the slide transition from fade in/out, to slide 
(horizontal or vertical) but I'm not sure where to start.

I believe, including a basic explanation of how to use custom slide transitions 
would allow this gallery to have an even WIDER usage.
