Hi,
in my experience, issues like this can normally be resolved by enabling
"Override Device ID" in BlueRemote's Preferences > Advanced screen, and setting
the device subclass to "Kbd" (for Keyboard).
After you make these changes, make sure you remove all association between the
devices (i.e., any existing pairing) before trying the connection again. It may
also be necessary to reboot the computer and/or disabling and then reenabling
its Bluetooth radio to make sure all previously cached device data is cleared.
The "Override Device ID" option temporarily changes the Bluetooth class of the
phone to that of a Bluetooth peripheral. The device class is restored to its
original value when you exit BlueRemote. Some Bluetooth software (e.g., those
in Sony's PS3 and Apple's iPad) require this in order to accept keyboard/mouse
input from your device. The new WIDCOMM stack may need this as well.
Please let me know if this setting helped in your case.
Thanks,
Karoly
