Is there a way to take a VM and run the vm automatically and hide the VBox window for portable vb?

Also, what does it take to get portable-vb upgraded to 4.2.16? Is the process documented somewhere?

The easiest way is to choose an up2date update mirror. You can find a short how-to on the "official" support board at win-lite.de (but this is not reachable atm)

It has been updated to the latest version and released on http://www.vbox.me/ . Will try to update more frequent in the future.
