Current output of the new cookbook example:
rows are water contents of 9, 77 and 143. 77 and 143 look OK-ish for a first pass, 9 looks totally wrong for the modulus. Not sure what's up with that yet....
updated fig, now matches liu et al supplemental fig, except for some offset in the modulus coming from different reference modulus. can update the cookbook to use theirs.
current summary: pretty sure the scaling is implemented as in Liu et al, but moduli are very low at mantle conditions, resulting in some pretty low absolute velocities. need to investigate further.
I'm going to close this one for now -- when scaling to mantle conditions, the absolute velocities are very low. Might re-open in the future.
Working on adding the recent Liu et al. eBurgers scaling (https://doi.org/10.1073/pnas.2221770120).
