"Browser permissions" are complex, flakey and diverse. #1

Feedback from a few meetings:

One person shows several screenshots of not having correct permissions. Permissions were not asked and cannot be changed. Chrome (version unknown) on Macbook (type/OSX version unknown).

One person has only Internet Explorer and cannot open. Has no idea how to install Chrome or Firefox.

One person granted all permissions but still video was not shown and video-permission set to "off". Chrome-latest-stable on OSX latest.

I've noticed some people are using company machines and therefor are not allowed to change permissions in their browsers.

This is mostly outside of what we can do.

Solutions:

Simplest Road To Success¹:

Open in App. [PLAY Store] [App Store] [F-Droid] more info and options

¹ A call-to-action and instruction without any "Ifs" "else" or "alternatively you can..." etc. Just One Instruction.

This was a personal laptop. Maybe the "account" had no permissions? Though she mentioned that Facebook Messenger video-calls and Hangouts worked before on the same browser+laptop
