WST + EAR = fail - Githubissues

latest eclipse (3.7) + gpe (1.8.3).

I've setup an appengine web module project (a single war packaged into an ear 
file) project using maven and imported it into eclipse as a maven project.

When I try to start it using one of the Servers, I get all sorts of weird 
errors about files in the .metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.wst.server.core/tmp0 
folder being messed up.

If I remove the project from Eclipse, then import again, but don't include the 
ear portion of the project. I can start up just the war file just fine.

Please let me know what other details you need. I could spend a bunch of time 
explaining everything, but I suspect that you can reproduce it yourself pretty 
easily.

Also, it seems I can't use a facet other than the ear facet for version 5.0. 
Anything greater shows an error during setup of the servers tab.
