1. From settings get video add-ons icefilms update

3. Update failed error message appears

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected to get an update of 1.0.24

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.0.18

Please provide any additional information below.

we have even tried installing from zip files and installing the
plugin.video.icefilms-1.0.24 zip and we get an update failed error message.
Even after trying to uninstall icefilms and re-installing it again and it gives

Try updating your XBMC to beta 2. You can do this manually by SSH with your
computer or if you have nitoTV just go to install and update the XBMC. Once
updated icefilms should then show an update which you just have to install.

I have the same problem, updated XBMC to beta2, update from within the system
page fails and update from zip file fails too. I'm on version 1.018 on ATV2

I read all the comments but try as I may I cannot get icefilms to update. I get
a "update failed" message.
I have "update be gone' active in Nito TV to avoid updates to the ATV2, could
that be the problem? If I disable it, won't the ATV2 update automatically and
void the jailbreak? Some people say that updating to Eden Beta2 fixed the
problem but it did nothing for me.
Anybody?

Unfortunately nothing seemed to work an we ended up having to re-jailbreak the
Apple TV. But at leader it is working again and we can access the new
sources.

Wow. What made you decide to do that? Did someone recommend this as a last
resort?

It was our only option.. When we tried uninstalling and reinstalling XBMC that
failed too and we couldn't get it back on. The re-jailbreaking wasn't bad at
all and at least now it works again.

did you by any chance try to delete IceFilms and reinstalling before
re-jailbreaking?

Yes, we tried removing ice films first and couldn't reinstall it. Then we tried
removing XBMC but couldn't reinstall that either. Jailbreaking was our last
resort. It was easy and now we can access all of the new ice film sources.
