Updating ICEFILMS Add-On #78

QUESTION: Under ICEFILMS settings, there is an option to "update" which is 
grayed out ... how do we update icefilms to the newest version? without having 
to SSH into the appletv and re-installing the repo ... any help is appereciated

I have the same question as the original poster. Do you have to update or does 
the IceFilms add on update automatically each time new content is added to the 
server?

I've tried to understand this myself, - however, I believe you must uninstall 
the current version and download the 1.0.21 from the Internet (and then 
transfer it to the ATV (or similar..).

@comment 1.  New media content is automatically updated. You don't need to do 
anything to see new media.  As far as updating the add-on with APTV2 -i'm not 
sure but I think you have to uninstall current version. Then install the 
latest(1.0.21) from the repository.
