Skyline visualization - peak boundaries #1067

I was wondering on the data that are passed to Skyline Daily after DIANN analysis. I was able to import the result.tsv thanks to another thread here (number 1048, thanks!), but I wanted to ask what I am looking at, when I see the results from DIANN into skyline. I see the library that DIANN built and the raw files read on this library by skyline, correct? Are these raw files corrected by the peak boundaries? I ask this because when I import such peak boundaries from the report.tsv file, many precursors that were yellow/red turn into green in skyline, and I was wondering if this phenomenon was only aesthetical (with no changes in the quantification) or if importing the peak boundaries could actually help. Thank you very much. Best, Giovanni

Hi Giovanni,

My understanding was that Skyline pulls the peak boundaries from the DIA-NN's main report automatically. I will check with the Skyline team.

Best, Vadim
