how to introduce a new modification and specify its delta mass #1188

Thanks for developing such a wonderful software! Your work is highly appreciated!

I have a question:

Would it be possible to customize a modification and insert its delta mass (Like maxquant or spectronaut)? If so, would you mind guiding me please?

Hi Gianluca,

Yes, modifications are fully customisable in DIA-NN using --var-mod and --fixed-mod commands, please see https://github.com/vdemichev/DiaNN?tab=readme-ov-file#command-line-reference for the syntax.
