Evidence column meaning #1219

I am interested in the meaning of the Evidence column in report.tsv (connected with #1068 and #1138)

@vdemichev can you shed some light on what exactly it represents?

Hi Dejan,

It reflects the degree of correlation between the elution profiles of fragment ions and MS1 signal with each other, i.e. the higher the better, however it is incorporated in the q-value calculation already, so normally you would not want to use it for anything.
