Error downloading R package #9

I'm using the instructions provided but I'm getting this error. Any help would be appreciated!

Downloading GitHub repo vdemichev/diann-rpackage@HEAD Error in utils::download.file(url, path, method = method, quiet = quiet, : cannot open URL 'https://api.github.com/repos/vdemichev/diann-rpackage/tarball/HEAD'

If you click on the URL, my browser offers to download it. So if there's a problem with download, something is wrong with R?
