Location does not affect the time appearance of events. The location appears in the widget for each event, or show blank if not available. It does not play role to the appearance of the calendar if Location data is available or not in the native macOS calendar.

Icalbuddy note: it does not seem to work appropriately in the more recent version of the MacOS (64K versions). if the original command does not pull the calendars ( the widget does not load and time-out after 2 mins) then use the command "-ic" in the icalbuddy command line, followed by the names of the calendars.
