Hello fellow frontend gophers. I found that this library was perhaps a little bulky for my needs.
So I went ahead and designed my vision of a Material Design Component package for vecty from the ground up. I feel like I really got somewhere, it is really pleasant to use. I have made the repo over at https://github.com/soypat/mdc.
Main differences with this implementation:
All code contained in one package. More comfortable naming scheme and reduce chances of hitting cyclic dep in future. Also easier to navigate for beginner
Loosely coupled components where possible (and where it makes sense)
Simple as possible component implementation. see DataTable, for example
Uses latest MDC version (v13.0.0 vs v4.0.0)
I plan on following this path forward and would like propose development switch from the current material development over to mdc in the near future. I plan to push aggresively these couple weeks as I try to implement all of MDC, if someone wants to help out I welcome all issues on which component one would wish to add/fix (ctrl+f TODO), followed by a PR!
Lastly, to the developers of this library, thank you for all the work you put in! Could not have made it this far without your help!
