Question regarding e-mail marketing column in Mailchimp #313

All our mailing list members are still in the Mailchimp group but suddenly (since a week or so ago and upgrade to latest Civi, could be coincidental) a large number are shown as 'unsubscribed' in the 'e-mail marketing' column when viewing lists, especially those belonging to a couple of interest groups.

This is causing issues as e.g. e-mail meant to go out to 300+ people is only showing 20 recipients in Mailchimp.

Does the extension have control of this status in Mailchimp? Trying to work out what happened and I thought that the sync just put people into groups and Mailchimp/the subscribers controlled that? Any feedback/ideas here appreciated.

This seems like it was a red herring with the issues I was having, actual issue seems to be some contacts have disappeared from Mailchimp and just happens most of those left are 'unsubscribed'
