For information I've also posted this as a question on the Stack Exchange site (http://civicrm.stackexchange.com/questions/12971/is-it-possible-to-run-the-uk-direct-debit-gocardless-payment-processor-alongside)
@Upperholme This is in our queue and needs testing with your version. In the mean time, if you can do any patch/solution, that would be helpful.
Hi @Kajakaran and thanks for the prompt reply. I'm about to update to 4.6.19 if that's any help?
Wondering if there's been any progress on this issue? I see there have been changes re: version 4.7 - should I aim to upgrade my Civi install to 4.7 if that will solve this problem?
@Upperholme We have done fix for the compatiablity with 4.7. We have not tested your scenario yet. It is still on our queue. In the mean time, you can have a try with with 4.7
Many thanks for this. I'll double check, but I think we're good to go to move to 4.7.x, and then I'll test again.
@Upperholme This PR may help: https://github.com/veda-consulting/uk.co.vedaconsulting.payment.ukdirectdebit/pull/55
Using Civi 4.6.x with Wordpress, we have event registrations working smoothly using the Paypal Website Payments Standard payment processor. The next stage is to get memberships up and running and we want to use your UK Direct Debit/GoCardless payment processor to facilitate recurring membership payments.
However, as soon as I enable the Direct Debit extension (I've not configured it yet and it's not been enabled on any contribution pages), my event contribution pages, which are set up to use Paypal, stop working correctly because the billing block is no longer being displayed as it should be when the user chooses the 'pay later' option. As a result the user is faced with validation errors that they can't fix.
If I disable the direct Debit extension, my Paypal event registration form works as it should.
