[ ] Handle errors during _process_packet and _process_notifications, also when dispatched as Futures
[x] Handle devices returning None for data and timestamp
[x] Implement a context manager for BaseStream.run_in_thread
[ ] Catch IllegalSetting?

Errors raised in processes also seem lead to silent failures, even when block=True.
