Any option I choose in TermSCP that initiates a pop-up window in the center of the screen,The resulting new dialog box is too short to see any text I type.

Start termscp and connect to a host.
Choose the F7/D option
The pop-up in the center of the screen is too short to display any typed text.
Typing blindly and pressing Enter actually creates a new directory
