The above screenshot in the pilot session today makes me think...
By default, Voyager2 doesn’t do aggregation for quantitative fields, which make sense to me in most cases.
However, my observation is this:
If it’s just one q field (dot plot), then not aggregating the q field makes sense
If it’s one q field and one key-like nominal field, then not aggregating the q field makes sense
If it’s one q field and one binned q field, then aggregating the q field makes more sense
If it’s one q field and one non-key-like nominal field, then aggregating the q field makes more sense
