Compared with other apps, web pages, etc. (including Metamask) the desktop wallet seems to have very large text and take up an excessive amount of screen space (macOS). Even the title bar text is larger than native apps (also the cursor is a caret for text selection when hovering the title text, unlike other apps which show a pointer).
Could this be easily tightened up a bit to bring it more in line with other apps and make our wallet feel less "different"?
Tasks
[ ] Make updates to tighten up and improve the font sizes and spacing of all views in the desktop wallet app (taking guidance from the design files linked below)
[ ] Brief design review with Calum once we have something to refine
[ ] Test
[ ] Release
Resources
Without dedicating any specific UX and visual design time to this ticket, the following two Figma files contain previous WIP desktop wallet designs (not finished or implemented), and the latest browser wallet designs that can be used as a guide to what might be a better balance and hierarchy of font sizes and spacing for different UI elements:
If it wasn't too much effort, we might want to adjust the default dimensions of the app window itself as well, making it smaller / narrower to reduce the amount of screen space it takes up.
