Actually the todo list should be heavily reviewed. A lot of the stuff there could be removed...:)
I really don't want to force users to use the github via browser. Is there a way to have it both ways? Like have a file as a file but appears both as issues in github?
I think the only way would be to maintain them in parallel.
I suppose if there was one I wanted to comment on, or work on, I could just create an issue for it at that time. As long as we are the only ones working on the project, there is no real loss of visibility.
Actually, I don't object to this one at all. But I'm not too familiar with the issue system of github...
Would you mind if I copied some of the more interesting todo items into GitHub issues? If you want I could wait until you have gone through them and removed the ones that are no-longer valid. Just let me know.
Stopping people when they have energy (like you obviously have) is counter productive at best and destructive at worst. Don't wait for me, if you want to do it then by all means do it. Some of these items will be certainly important enough to measure an issue of their in the issues database...
I've added most of the issues that seem like things that I either have questions about, or are things I would be interested in helping with.
It might be nice to use GitHub issues instead of the TODO text file. This might encourage others to work on these issues and submit pull requests. At the very least it would enable people to comment on the issues with suggestions or votes of encouragement.
I realize that this would increase your dependency on GitHub which you may not be interested in. If that is the case, feel free to dismiss this suggestion.
