An unexpected error from instance listing #676

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
Issue running command [gcloud compute instances list].

What steps will reproduce the problem?

I guess there are two things that caused this problem:
1) I didn't know that I have to do `gcloud auth login` everyday (is it true?)
That is, I didn't do that when running command `instances list`
2) I didn't make any instances (intentionally)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

A message saying no available instances.

Please provide any additional information below.

Thanks for your report and sorry about the delayed response. Replies and
questions below:

You do not need to do `gcloud auth login` everyday. You just need to do it when
you want to change the account you are using to perform actions on your cloud
resources.

The connection refused error suggests there may be problems with your network
configuration that are preventing you from reaching the required cloud service.
Are you behind a proxy of some kind?
