Search installed apps #5

Should suggest installed apps (using a pop up list above the query field) as the user is typing and they're matching.

Only activities allowed on the launcher and matching the query should be listed.

When this happens, could there be an option to disable the online searches?

I am looking for an assist app that only includes installed apps and saw JustSearch in F-Droid and checked this GitHub in case it was what I am looking for.

Hi Mikaela,

If/when this happens, it would probably cover your use case without adding another option as it should show a list of only apps as you're typing, as opposed to initiating a web search when submitting the query.

meanwhile I suggest looking/testing KISS launcher in non-launcher mode.

@Mikaela you could also try Fast! App Search tool (also Faster is same app without translations). Both in F-Droid.

Thanks for the suggestion, however I already translated KISS into Finnish (complete translation will probably appear with the next release) and am too happy with it to try anything else :)
