Does somebody test broadcast sending? #835

Hello

I have an question,

I am having a small village (about ~2000 people) We are all one family in the village, or tribe, which I would like to send new (birth, death, occasions, inviting to dinner for example) and they will give me their number and they will save it in their phone.

From my side, I think if all of them save the number in their phone, that means they are accepting to receive these news.

Is it allowed to send to them these news using broadcast without being blocked? and is there any limit to send? Does somebody test that?

We dont support spamming. 50 limit for broadcast

@mgp25 Thank you for your response, but can I ask you where is the spamming exactly? First we are group (friends, and family members) second, they will give me their number, and they will save my number, so they will be able to receive the news who is birth, and who is death...etc.

And they will receive these under their request to me!!! and they can contact me to remove the number!!!!

Not everything above some numbers is spamming.... @mgp25

when your bank send to their clients (more than 200k) message about something happens.. is it spamming?

Anyway, about the limit, in my phone it is open without any limit..

Be note, that if they did not save my number, they will not be able to get my message!!

Experience tells me I'm right.

Wtf, who is alive or who is death? Newspaper, telephone. Not a cold a message like: "Derrp is dead"

I dont know where are you living, but here the bank only sends an SMS when you take money.

Broadcast message is limited to 50 person per list. And if they have you synced, they will receive your message, if not, they wont

Hi, @mgp25 about alive, death drama, no, when you have a big family that is connected socially, there is an exception. Banks here sending their news, this branch is closed, this lab lab lab, even government send their news by SMS and other channels from time to another! There is no issue with that as long as the receiver want that!

Anyway @mgp25 do you know why it is unlimited in WhatsApp interface? and in WhatsAPI only limited to 50 number?

It isn't unlimited in WhatsApp app. Just get server properties and you will see.

u can send messages to the contacts if they add you exist in their contact list, it's easy ^_^
