How to exactly simulate a mobile phone?

Hello guys. I'm looking to create like a real web application to WhatsApp, so, I want to exacly simulate the phone. In the exemples we just need to use:

• connect
• loginWithPassword
• sendSetProfilePicture (if changed)
• sendMessage (if want send message, obviously)
• pollMessage

In some topics here, long time ago, I saw another things that WhatsApp probably do, and as I want create an web application, to login and use the same way that we use in cellphone, what do you recommend do? Like anothers things, as sync contacts, and if I need sync contacts everytime I connect or just once a day, for exemple...

Good luck. Lot of things you need to read here. And you'll do the app number X to chat with wa. Do you really need to create the wheel again?
