I have the same kind of problem on my Lenovo Legion 7 161THg6. I installed the software "LegionFanControl" When I stop it, Ventoy installs correctly on my USB key. Maybe you have the same kind of problem? Or a Lenovo related software are bloking Ventoy installation.
Hi Guys, not lenovo user here but same problem, did you find any solution?
The LegionFanControl is a tier application for hardware modification. I know windows doesn't really like it. I know I have made some exception in the system for it to work but I don't remember where. I think those exceptions trigger windows into a paranoïde mode toward hardward. Maybe there is some specific hardware application that can "trigger" this state in your system ? You can try to close some background application to found if any prevent Ventoy to install ? I think it's not necessary to reboot each time but I'm not sure. I can't test now. But maybe later.
Hi and thank you for your quick response!. It's a clean machine, defender disabled, no strange programs...I recently disinstalled NordVPN for what it matters....I can confirm that it's not HW related becouse I can successfully install the same ventoy version using other machines. I'll apprecciate any support, thank you again

My system is a Brand new Lenovo Legion 5i pro. I'm attaching the log file and screenshot with this.
Thanks in Advance
