I'm able to boot the installer if I open the ISO in grub2 mode but it doesn't seem to install properly

trmdi commented 4 months ago

Maybe it relates to your graphic card? I could boot it without any issue.

More info:

This is a known problem to the openSUSE project.

They have a detailed bug report on Reddit.

Hello, I have installed OpenSUSE Tumbleweed, but after installation the default option of grub does not work.

I have tried the recovery option and it works perfectly. So from grub, I edited the default boot options removing parts until I found which option was preventing the boot.

rdinit=/vtoy/vtoy

I don't know what it does, and I can't find much on google. Does anyone know what it does and how to make it work without having to modify grub.
