Maybe try Ventoy text mode menu before you boot from iso?
Maybe try Ventoy text mode menu before you boot from iso?
I tried everything I've seen mentioned in other issues: text mode first, changing the resolution in Ventoy (which does change it but once the ISO boots it is back to 800x600), disabling Secure Boot (which worked for some users). Nothing seems to work for me, always 800x600.
I should add that booting Ubuntu ISOs is fine, I get high resolution with those. It seems to be Windows related ISOs that are problematic.
I second this: Same issue with my Lenovo X1.

What happened?
When booting various Windows related ISOs, e.g. Win11 24H2 installer, various WinPE ISOs, they all run in a low 800x600 gfx mode that cannot be changed and renders apps unusable because buttons end up off screen, dialogs are cut off, etc.
If I write the same ISOs directly to the USB flash drive using Rufus or similar, they boot just fine in 4K mode 3840x2160.
Anything we can do to fix Ventoy to work the same way? It is unusable otherwise.
