What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. spl update

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
To reboot back into recovery mode, instead Black screen

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
splhard1_update_signed

Please provide any additional information below.
I followed the instructions to update my ROM Eclair_2.1-v1.5 G1/MT3G 32B
and it stated that the radio and spl needed to be updated. I following the
instructions and POW! I created a brick. It will not do anything, no life left.
