Hanging and 100% CPU usage on the idle system (without RW) #784

Periodically, my VeraCrypt on the OSX is hanging and utilizes 1 core of the laptop.

Steps to reproduce

I can't reproduce this bug, it appears randomly. Sometimes, VeraCrypt works for a few weeks without any issues, the same virtual encrypted disks, sometimes it hangs after 1 day after reboot. I mount 2 disks (100Mb, 15Gb).

But I sampled this process while it was hanged. See attached file. Sample of VeraCrypt.txt

Same issue here. It's been for a while now. I'm on BigSur 11.3.

It's a minor annoyance since you can kill the GUI and still have your disk mounted. But it's a odd behaviour for a GUI that stands there (apparently) doing nothing.
