upgrade to 1.25.9 generates a fatal error under osx (Catalina)

after updating Veracrypt from v1.24.7 to v1.25.9, on osx Catalina, veracrypt can no longer be started

Expected behavior

work the same way, with old and new version

Observed behavior

fatal error at start of veracrypt, without further explanation

Steps to reproduce

just start veracrypt in this configuration

**VeraCrypt version: 1.24-Update7 - -> to 1.25-update9 osxfuse 3.10

Operating system and version: osx Catalina, up-to-date

I am a little worried when a fatal error on a common platform does not generate any response from the developer in over 2 months.
Anyway, let me just add this, in case that other users have experienced the same problem: there is no 3rd party virus/malware software running on my system. Simply going back to version 1.24.-update7 (last working ... on Catalina) does not work, instead follow this sequence when you see the same problem on your device :

• uninstall oxfuse and vera, then restart
• install oxfuse 3.10 or 3.11, then restart
• install veracrypt, now it works.
