Preview of a block #60

What are you trying to do? Show a preview of a block before adding it to the editor

What's your proposed solution? Would be great if the user could select an uploaded image, that shows as soon as you hover over the block type. So basically the user could not just add an icon to the block type, but also an image, that shows in a popup. Tried to visualize it in the screenshot below

Good suggestion, and I've considered it. Where it gets really tricky is determining what the preview is. My thinking is you'd want something abstract like the above. It's not something we can auto-generate, because the layout of any Vizy Block is completely specify to your project, so you'd likely need to manage it similar to the icon for a block type.

Thanks for considering it. I don't think it would be necessary to auto-generate it. Uploading an image would be enough, so everybody can show a different preview style (abstract, screenshot etc.) according to his/her needs.
