same issue, but RIGHT CLICK - Clear Buffer works.

rromanv commented 5 years ago

Same here on Win10 1809, WSL, sometimes doing clear two or three times does the trick, Clear Buffer doesn't work for me

I'm also on Win10 1809 WSL — perhaps this problem is specific to it? In the meantime, if you can help it, I'd suggest downgrading to Hyper 2.1.2 as a workaround.

I was able to fix this!

I just compiled the source code from scratch. I cloned the canary branch and followed the instructions on the github readme: https://github.com/vercel/hyper

I believe the problem was with the xterm.js npm package and has been fixed there but because Hyper has not been re-compiled and released since May 2019, the fix has not been distributed.

My working build is 3.1.0-canary.4.

I actually moved away from hyper a long time ago. Had problems with it being really slow. Currently I'm using Windows terminal and I really like it but I'm not in terminal a ton
