Hyper is broken

I'm on MacOS Big Sur. Hyper is broken and unusable after multiple reinstalls - minuscule font, grey frame around window regardless of theme installed; pressing keys causes window to suddenly zoom in for as long as key is held, then out again.

It appears there's a config file that is persisting between installs but I don't know what or where it is. Apparently <brew uninstall --cask hyper> doesn't remove all files.

My config file is below. Any suggestions on how to reset or reinstall correctly, please let me know.

Have you tried anything else so far?

I deleted the hyper folder in ~/Library/Application Support, then uninstalled and reinstalled Hyper with Homebrew. Still have exact same problem as before: grey frame around terminal window, tiny font, window zooms when any keyboard key is depressed. I'm not sure what else there is to delete.
