New Folder option creates new folder but starts to rename wrong item

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Click New Folder icon or use keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+Shift+N)
2. Observe "New Folder" and placed dependent on current sort order
(alphabetical for me).
3. The item that is selected for renaming (highlighted with caret/edit
active) is the last item in the folder.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Expect "New Folder" to be created *and* also selected and activated for
renaming.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Latest version on Windows 7.

On Win7, you can remove the hotkey for this since Win7 already creates a new 
folder
itself when you press Ctrl-Shift-N.
