Don't think using the skills from single player will work here. The way skills in single player work is that the stat points simply seem to increase your rate of learning of associated skills and even "non-combat" skills have perks, that affect combat whilst "combat" skills also have a lot of campaign-related perks. If modding allows us to change damage multipliers of characters, etc, I think it will probably be a lot simpler to use Warband-like stats.
Either that, or we adapt a stat/skill system similar to Bannerlords, but that will require figuring out our own perks/etc.
