Feature Request: Switch deprecated 'Getwork' protocol (according to slush's pool) to 'Stratum'

I just started using my PS3 to connect to slush's pool. While it connects and gets works, the pool is reporting that getwork is its way out. They recommend switching to 'Stratum'.

With the protocol change:

• lower 'stale ratio', which means more accepted shares
• fees collected by the pool from network transactions

Also, the pool says the following already have this support:

• GUI miner (20121118 and newer) for OpenCL cards (ATI)
• cgminer (2.8.x and newer)
• poclbm (20120920 and newer)
• bfgminer

So might be worth checking them to seeing if the feature can be implemented here.
