Rotation between Camera and Inertial Body frame #1

Open zauberflote1 opened 4 months ago

Hello, I was wondering if you plan on explicitly accounting for the rotation effects between the camera frame and the inertial frame of the body that carries the camera, e.g., a drone, or if the Network already accounts for this.

Great work, and Thanks

Hi, @zauberflote1

Thank you!

We assume that we know camera heading (according to magnetic pole) and that it is always facing down. If you have this information, it should not matter what is carrying the camera and its movement. In our real-world experiments, we use a gimbal and retrieve only the information provided by it.
