The focus of the readme file should be on setting up the development environment to work with the integration. User documentation will be in the docs folder. The readme file should include the following:

Brief description of the integration
Instructions for loading the project files in the Force.com IDE
Instructions for configuring the Force.com DE (including any set up)
Instructions for deploying the project files to the Force.com DE
