Currently, this integration only allows the creation/linking of V1 Defects to Salesforce Cases. From the V1 perspective, it would be nice to use the Request asset so the Product Owner can decide how to address the customer need represented by the Salesforce Case. Then the Product Owner can decide if the Request should become an Defect, Story, or Epic, even a combination of those.
