Remove doc folder and contents #18

Need to remove the old doc folder and contents from this repo once the readme and other files are updated.

No, the doc directory is correct for user docs. README.md should be used for developer docs. I think you mean just remove the Word Doc in the doc directory so I opened Issue #20. Also, I guess it would help to document project conventions somewhere.

Agreed. Should we come up with some sort of template for user doc format?

Perhaps. If so, it should probably go here: https://github.com/versionone/versionone-opensource-boilerplate

Which is what I use to create new projects. Sorry for the lack of docs! (Ironic, right?)

Feel free to open some issues there about things that need to be common across projects.
