Some things I noticed.

For me, as a web developer, I like the design, but the content feels like a work in progress and it needs to bring me in more to really excite me. It just doesn't feel as serious as I think it needs to. It's definitely missing something for me especially if I look at this from a brand new user perspective.

It does not seek to align itself with bigger players like LTC that also use the LIT network. It just doesn't feel like I'm getting enough information about the coin, but rather I am an overview.

I'm not sure what you mean here. It's a case of the Lightning Network supporting the coin not the coin supporting the lightning network, the Litecoin Devs have nothing to do with this. Litecoin and Vertcoin were added by James early last year. Anyone else can add other SegWit coins to the build very easily.

I hold VTC, so I know what it is and what the goals are, etc. but the site looks like it is geared more towards those who know about it rather than trying to inform new users about the coin and why it is something worth using/investing in. Where's the Features page from the LIVE site? This gives some good information about the coin.

The features page is the homepage. It's phrased in laymans terms to attract new users, I would like to include a more technical page in the future.

Tell me more about Atomic Swaps! Why is this important and did Vertcoin help pioneer this? Why? Show me how it works! Tell me why this is cool in a real world scenario when I'm trying to purchase something.

This is on the home page.

If I am a merchant, are there tools I can use to accept Vertcoin on my site?

This is on the homepage

Where is Vertpig and Vertbase info?

They weren't trading at the time of this submission. They will be added.

The links to whitepapers, trading info, and roadmap, Github, Support, Proof of Work, Discord, Reddit, etc. are embedded on the content pages, but shouldn't you have them as a link in the footer as well so people can easily locate this information?

More extensive footer is also in the works, this is all we needed for the time being.

Although I understand the "Big Banks" rhetoric. Are you excluding those who trust big banks? Are you being inclusive or exclusive?

banks/big banks, this is just a solution presenting a financial system without banks. The big bank rhetoric is mainly aimed at those who don't yes, I'd largely argue the sentiment towards banks is either neutral or negative for those who a currently interested in crypto and for the immediate future.

Where's more information about the origins of MIT and this coin. People want to know that a powerhouse like MIT has nurtured this project. I need more info.

MIT disallows direct relationships, Enigma did this and MIT got extremely pissed off. LIT is a MIT project. Vertcoin also works on LIT development through James/Gert that's the only connection we're allowed to push.
