Pik uses the folder "%USERPROFILE%/.pik" as a settings folder, but Ruby can't access this folder if the USERPROFILE contains utf-8 characters. I was able to install pik editing "pik_install," but then I couldn't get it working. I suggest using another path as a settings repository, it could be in the path pik is installed in.
